Hong Kong Racing Museum - The Development History of Horse Racing in Hong Kong

Horse racing in Hong Kong has always been one of the most popular sports.
This sport was first brought in by the British in 1842.
To know more about the story, it is recommended to take a short trip to this museum.

Established in 1996, this museum is aimed to display the evolution story of horse racing in Hong Kong.
The size of the museum is not big, but it is located in a good location in the racecourse.
In the museum, visitors can overlook the nice views of the racecourse.
Apart from these, the museum also houses many exhibits for showing the history of horse racing and the changes of the racecourse.

The museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm from Tuesdays to Sundays and Public Holidays.
It is closed on Mondays, except Public Holidays.
The admission is free.

To reach this museum, exit off Causeway Bay MTR Station Exit A.
Then, walk along Matheson Street to Wong Nai Chung Road.
Afterwards, walk along Wong Nai Chung Road for approximately 15 minutes.
