As it is surrounded by lush vegetation, its entrance is always hard to see from road side.
So, it is often neglected by people.
Nonetheless, the beach itself is well equipped with washrooms, changing rooms, barbeque area and shark prevention nets.
Lifeguards are only on duty during summer season.
There is also a refreshment kiosk selling various kinds of snacks and beverages.
The whole playground area is nicely done.
It has swings, bouncing horses, slides and monkey bars, which are suitable for children to play with.
To get there, you can take the MTR to the Hong Kong MTR Station and leave at Exit D.
Then, take bus No.6X or 66 at Exchange Square Bus Terminus and get off at Chung Hom Kok Beach Bus Stop.
At about hundred meters from the right hand side of the bus stop, there is a staircase going downhill.
This is the way to the beach.
