Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum - Prison History of Hong Kong

This two-storey museum is located just outside a prison.
It reveals the prison history in Hong Kong and the story behind prison cells.

The museum features some artifacts of prison, such as staff uniforms and insignias, homemade weapons and more.
Thousands of exhibitions present the development of correctional services in Hong Kong and the challenged faced at different stages.

The museum is quite small, but it is interesting.
One hour is probably enough to check out all the exhibits.

The museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm, from Tuesdays to Sundays.
It is closed on Mondays and Public Holidays.
Admission is free.

To get there, you can take the MTR to the Hong Kong MTR Station and leave at Exit D.
Then, take bus No.6, 6X or 260 at Exchange Square Bus Terminus and get off at Stanley Prison Bus Stop.

Alternatively, you can take the MTR to the Causeway Bay MTR Station and leave at Exit F1.
Then, take Green Minibus No.40 at Jardine's Bazaar and get off at Stanley Prison.
