Kowloon Park - Peaceful Park

In this commercial district, there is a public park.
This public park was opened in 1970 and it is one of the largest parks in Hong Kong.

In 1989, this park underwent a large scale redevelopment.
After redevelopment, the park is divided into different zones.
Various recreational amenities, such as swimming pool, children's playground, aviary and fitness stations, can be found in different zones.
Especially the aviary, it has around 40 species of 140 birds.
It is worth to take a look.

This park also houses a small museum.
The museum is free entry and its exhibits mainly display the history of Hong Kong.

This park looks very close to the nature with its peaceful environment and lesser crowd.
This is well worth a visit if you have a spare hour or so for relaxing.

To reach this place, exit off Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit A1.
Once you get out of the station, you know you are at the right place.
