Fung Tak Park - Park of Fantasy

In this densely populated area, there is a public park.
This public park was opened in 1995 and it is one of the few themed parks in Hong Kong.
It is about 1 hectare in size.
In the park, there are many fantasy architectures and impressive tile arts.

Apart from these, the park also has some other amenities, such as children's playground, landscaped area and refreshment kiosk.

The theme of this park is mainly selected from a Chinese classical novel "Journey to the West".
Based on the setting of this theme, this park is divided into five main zones, namely "Cave with a veiling cascade", "Mountain of five fingers", "Flaming Mountain", "Palace of crystal" and "Mountain of blossoms and fruits".

According to the story, "Mountain of blossoms and fruits" and the "Cave with a veiling cascade" are the birthplace of the monkey king.
The monkey king was once trapped in the "Mountain of five fingers" and he got his weapon at the "Palace of crystal".

This park is full of characteristics.
It is open daily and the admission is free.
It is worth to take a look.

To get there, you can take the MTR to the Wong Tai Sin MTR Station and leave at Exit A.
Then, walk along Lung Cheung Road to get to the park for about 10 minutes.
