In order to promote astronomy and space science, this museum displays a collection of interactive exhibits.
This museum is composed of a space theater, two exhibition halls and a lecture hall.
The space theater has a hemispherical screen with the first OMNIMAX film projector.
There are different scientific documentary on show every week.
The shows take audiences on a spacecraft journey to explore the fantastic astronomical objects, such as black holes, red giants and white dwarfs.
The entrance fee of the museum is about HKD$10 for adults or HKD$5 for seniors, students and children.
Free on Wednesdays.
Besides, the ticket fee of the space theater is about HKD$30.
The museum is open from 1:00pm to 9:00pm from Mondays to Fridays.
On Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays, it is open from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
It is closed on Tuesdays, except Public Holidays.
To reach this place, exit off East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit J2.
Then, walk along Salisbury Road for about 2 minutes.
