Tsz Wan Kok - Story of a Cow

About this monastery, there is a true story.
In the early 80s, in Cheung Sha Wan Slaughterhouse, there was once a cow wept in tears and kneeled before entering the slaughterhouse.
It just like begging for its life.
The workers of the slaughterhouse thought this cow is special, and hence, sent it to this monastery.
Since then, the cow lived in here until it became old and died.

In this monastery, there are some interesting scenic spots.
One of them is an ancient rock cave.

Inside the rock cave, it is humid and cold, and there are many terrifying statues.
These are used to alert people to pay attention to their morals and deeds.

To get there, you can take the MTR to the Wong Tai Sin MTR Station and leave at Exit A.
Then, take Green Minibus No.37A at Wong Tai Sin MTR Station, Shatin Pass Road and get off at Tsz Wan Shan North Bus Terminus.
The temple is located near the bus terminus.
