Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre - Share Gospel with Buddhists

This place was originally founded by a Norwegian missionary.
This missionary was sent to Mainland China for the missionary works in 1904.
Until 1930, due to the Chinese Civil War, he moved his works to Hong Kong and established this place.

Unlike traditional church, this place preaches Christian doctrines through traditional Chinese cultural arts.
In here, most of the buildings are designed in Chinese style and this place was mainly designed by a famous Danish architect.

This place also houses a chapel and an art store.
A wide range of souvenirs, such as porcelain, handicrafts and paintings, can be found in this art store.

This place is called "Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre".

To get to this place, you can take the MTR to the Sha Tin MTR Station and leave at Exit A2.
There is a pedestrian passageway at the left hand side that leads to the ground.
Then, at the ground level, follow the signposts and there is a staircase going uphill that leads to To Fung Shan.

At the end of the staircase, there is a roundabout.

Afterwards, walk along To Fung Shan Road to get to the Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre.
In this road, you may see a gate with a notice board scripted with the words "Quiet Zone".
This is a shortcut to the Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre if the gate is open.
The whole journey takes about 30 minutes.
