It was constructed in late Victorian architectural style using bricks and stuccos.
Also, it was declared as Grade I historic building in Hong Kong.
Actually, this building was abandoned in 1970.
Until in 1984, it was transformed into an arts and cultural hub.
Its target is to promote local artists and cultural heritage by offering artists with rent free exhibition and performance facilities.
The arts and cultural hub is open from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, from Mondays to Saturdays.
It is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
To reach this place, exit off Central MTR Station Exit D2.
Then, walk along Theatre Lane to get to D'Aguilar Street.
Afterwards, walk along D'Aguilar Street to get to Lower Albert Road.
