Sha Tin Park - Oasis in the City

Opened in 1988, this park is one of the best and the largest parks within this district.
It is a pretty landscaped park equipped with some nice gardens, pavilions, ponds, waterfalls and children's playgrounds.
It is good for a walk at the gardens or brings the children to play at the playgrounds.

This park also houses some bicycle rental shops.
Visitors can rent bicycle in those shops and go cycling along the promenade near the park.
The scenery here is so nice, especially the sceneries along the river nearby.

Besides, there are also some wild birds living in this park.
Especially during the migration season, this park is also one of the ideal places for birds watching.

This park is called "Sha Tin Park", formerly known as "Sha Tin Central Park".

To get there, you can take the MTR to the Sha Tin MTR Station and leave at Exit A.
Then, walk through New Town Plaza to get to Sha Tin Park.
