Sha Tin Park - A good playground for children. A great place for a bike ride.

HongKongFootprint.com came to Shatin this time, just to introduce the "Shatin Park" located in the Sha Tin town centre. Opened in 1988, this park is not only one of the largest parks in Sha Tin, but also a good playground for children.

This park is divided into two areas, north and south. It not only covers a vast area, but also has beautiful scenery and a variety of playground facilities. For example, there are small hills, small caves or large tunnels, etc., which can allow children to climb up and down, run and jump. It is definitely a good place to bring children to discharge energy.

Next to "Shatin Park" is "Shing Mun River". Both sides of the river are not only beautiful, but also paved with bicycle tracks. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery while riding bicycles, which is really comfortable. In addition, in order to facilitate visitors to use the cycling facilities here, "Shatin Park" also has bicycle rental kiosks, where visitors can rent bicycles. There are also many types of bicycles available for rent, which is very suitable for a family to enjoy cycling here. As for the cycling route, it is recommended to start from "Shing Mun River" and end at "Tolo Harbour". The scenery along the way is beautiful, and the difficulty is not high. It is definitely a good place for cycling.

If you want to be more static, strolling in the park is also a good choice. In this park, there are a large area of grass and famous and ancient trees, and the landscape layout is also very beautiful, especially the layout of gardens, pavilions, ponds and waterfalls, which are absolutely breathtaking.

This park is also the habitat of some wild birds. Every time it comes to the migration season, a lot of wild birds come to live here. So if you want to watch the wild birds, it is the best time to come to this park in spring and autumn every year.

"Shatin Park", also known as "Shatin Central Park", is close to large shopping malls and has convenient transportation. It is also a park that accompanies the growth of local residents. On normal days, there will be fewer visitors in "Shatin Park", and it feels particularly leisurely. It is also quite suitable to take a walk here or play with children.

If you want to visit this park, it is recommended to take the MTR to Shatin Station and leave at Exit A. Afterwards, walk into the New Town Plaza and follow the signs to arrive at Sha Tin Park.
