Western Market - The Oldest Market Building

This four-storey building was built in 1906.
It is one of the oldest surviving market buildings in Hong Kong.

The building was constructed in the Edwardian-style.
The design of the building features red brick walls and a granite foundation.

The building was originally a fresh produce market.
It was underwent a renovation in 1991 and reopened as a shopping centre.
The shopping centre offers different sorts of traditional Chinese handicrafts, souvenirs and fabrics.

In the shopping centre, there are also a bakery, Chinese dessert shop and cafes .
The shopping centre is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

To get there, take MTR to Sheung Wan MTR Station and leave at Exit B.
Then, Walk along Des Voeux Road Central for about 5 minutes.
